FNR

The Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) is the main funder of research activities in Luxembourg and invests public funds into research projects in various branches of science and humanities. With re. to doctoral training, the FNR funds almost 50% of all doctoral candidates in Luxembourg. In cooperation with the main stakeholders in doctoral training, the National Quality Framework for Doctoral Training was developed. The FNR also supports and coordinates activities to promote scientific culture and to raise public awareness for research and science (LëtzScience).
